Black Ops 2 Black Screen on Startup Pc

Hey guys,

I downloaded and installed BO2 a few days ago, and I have had this same problem. Whenever I try to open multiplayer or single player (havent installed zombies yet) the game goes right to being minimized and I can hear the startup sound/soundtracks but If I hover my cursor over the icon all I get is a black screen, If I click on it I get a thin black bar on the top of my monitor and that's it.

I have the latest drivers, i've verified game integrity in steam.

Please help.

what Operating system and version your using ?
for windows 7 try these steps.
install steam and update.just install and run no need to login.
update your GPU drivers.
download and install BOII Update 1,2 and 3
are you using original one or Cracked on like Skidrow,reloaded.etc.
i hope these steps will solve your prob.

Have you pressed ALT+ Enter key to maximize screen. Sounds like the screen is set to window

Thanks for the replies guys! Where would I press alt enter? Just anywhere on the screen when the game is starting? I tried and it's not working, even with my mouse pointer on the icon

I'm using windows 7 64 bit home premium.
Steam updates itself yesterday.
GPU Drivers are updated.
Where would I find those? Could you be so kind as to provide a link? Thanks!
I'm using the one I paid $60 for from steam.

game Update it self from internet there will be an option.sorry i don't remember that now where is it but its in settings. 60$ :ouch: to costly. you can buy a hard copy in blue ray or dvd in 45$ in market.

UPDATE: Game WORKS using integrated with my GPU out!! As soon as I put it in again this problem happens.

Then i'm afraid my friends problem is in your windows explore try restoring your system or reinstalling the windows again.
